Theodore Tzovanakis studied piano in Greece, Germany, Scotland and Holland, as a scholar of the Greek State Scholarship Foundation, the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe and the Alexander S. Onassis Foundation. He has won awards in Greek and international piano competitions. As a soloist he has collaborated with symphony orchestras and music ensembles in Greece, Austria, Ukraine, Germany, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Israel. He has given chamber music performances and piano recitals in Europe, U.S.A., N. Africa and the Middle East. His world premiere performances and recordings include works by D. Mitropoulos and A. Riades. His recordings have been presented by the National Broadcasting Corporations of Greece, the Netherlands, Moldova, Serbia, Israel and Czech Republic.
